UAB NDX energija started its business with the privatisation of AB Vakarų skirstomieji tinklai on 23 December 2003.
Timeline:
29th of April, 2003 – Establishment of UAB NDX energija for privatisation of AB Vakarų skirstomieji tinklai.
23th of December, 2003 – During a public privatisation tender UAB NDX energija for LTL 539,8 million (EUR 156,3 million) acquires 77% of AB Vakarų skirstomieji tinklai, an electricity distribution company operating in the western part of Lithuania.
20th of May, 2008 – The Government of the Republic of Lithuania and UAB NDX energija establish a national investor company AB LEO LT. UAB NDX energija contributes its shares in AB VST to the capital of LEO LT, AB.
4th of December, 2009 – The Government of the Republic of Lithuania, UAB NDX energija and AB LEO LT signs the Agreement on dissolution of the establishment of AB LEO LT. UAB NDX energija exits it's investment in Lithuanian energy sector.
